La felicidad que se encuentra: Kyle, Jenny, Alexa, Tyler, Tad, Liam, Nathan, and Audrey

We did a fun group date with some friends where we painted our spouses.  We were crying laughing at the results. The big upset was that Audrey found the golden Easter egg full of money this year.  We are grateful for spring weather and more time outside.   Nathan's school poster says that when he grows up he wants to be an archeologist and look for dinosaurs.  Apparently, his favorite animal is a camel and he loves apples, Dog Man books, basketball, drawing, and playing with Audrey.  He's "super fast" and he likes to ride his bike.   We were playing hide and seek and I laughed so hard at Nathan and Liam's hiding spots.   We went to the Butterfly Biosphere with a co-worker's family who is thinking of moving to Utah.  The kids had fun making new friends.   Alexa got to go to General Conference with Grandpa Swingle, Preston, and Damien.   We have been celebrating Tax Day (e.g. hopefully getting a tax return) with th...

Tyler was voted as the Class King for his school's Medieval Feast.  They had to do Medieval projects and one of Tyler's was to paint this amazing dragon. Marmie came with us to watch Preston play lacrosse in Lehi, which was cold but really fun.   We're happy the weather is warming up enough to play family baseball on the weekends.   Audrey and Nathan love playing in the backyard with Jeremias, who lives in our rental apartment.  He is 18 months old.  Tad turned 9 (!!) and asked for a turtle.  What a cute boy.  He named his new turtle Turbo.  He is loving basketball season and wanted to do go karting for his birthday party.  He also picked out some new legos with his birthday money.   Alexa was so happy to be on a basketball team with Chloe again.  They are inseparable and she's a great friend. Tyler Man asked to go to the temple for the first time on his birthday.  What a special memory.  He had his party a week later and had friends over to watch Free Guy.  Alexa made his cake and did a great job!  He asked for a new suit and a hamster car.   For Valentine's Day, Kyle got tickets to a candlelight quartet at the Utah History Museum.  We went together with the Pardons and Beagleys.  We also got to go to a Jazz Night & Dinner featuring one of our friends and neighbors, Hayley Kirkland.  She was incredible! Kyle and Tyler got to go see the Harlem Globe Trotters with the Beattys, Nathan is crazy, Audrey's hair is amazing, and we loved having Aunt June over.  She and Audrey got lots of cuddles. 

The kids went back to school for one week and then we pulled them out to cruise to Mexico with the Swingle clan.  Sadly, Chelsea went into emergency gallbladder surgery on the day we were supposed to leave so their family wasn't able to join.   We drove out the day before and stayed with Marmie and Grandpa the night before we got on the ship.   Day 1: We left the port in San Pedro, CA Day 2: Cruising on the ship. Pool deck and water slides, mini golf. Day 3: Family Devotional and then the afternoon in Cabo. We took a water taxi to some sea arches and caves, and then to an island beach.   Day 4: Mazatlan.  We walked through the city and explored downtown, a beautiful cathedral, ate delicious food, saw cliff divers, and played at a beach.
